I’m steaming ahead with the editing having done a fairly good rough edit of the first 30 mins. I’m getting the feeling this could be quite a comprehensive set as I’m going to keep going till I’m happy we have clear and complete content. However, we keep thinking of extra things and saying “Oh, it wouldn’t take a mo to shoot that!”. At some stage, we will have to decide that ‘better’ is the enemy of ‘good enough’ and draw a line in the sand. It’s going to be hard as this is my baby and I’m determined to do even better than the last DVDs.
This time, I am using more reference clips to clarify what I’m talking about, stop-motion for illustrating knots so my hands don’t get in the way and other techniques to help comprehension. The annoying music will be banished in favour of specially composed scores by Quentin Gendrot, who recently provided accompaniment at BOUND. So, overall, it should be a big improvement.
I came up for air for a short while to upload a few more photo sets from the past week to the Members Area. Whilst I have been slaving over a hot keyboard, Nina has been salivating over a selection of hot models. She has been busy tying Gorgone, Gestalata and MaYa. You’ll see from a few of her expressions that she really enjoys putting them through some of the toughest ties she can devise. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of Mo’s photography and editing. He seems to have been hiding his light under a bushel!
