As my living room has been a film set for the past couple of days, we decided to leave it that way for a bit. The decision to do so was made easy by the fact we were all tired after the shooting and the house is so full right now there is nowhere to put anything. The official excuse was that we could shoot some pick-ups and additional footage for the DVDs and my site.
In spite of a very last minute hasty set up, the lighting and camera were spot on. As MaYa has been away in Spain, Nina has been missing the opportunity to tie her so she was keen to make up for lost time. During the last few days, we have been reviewing Marai Masato’s (Gah! I always mis-type ‘Maria’, like ‘teh’ for ‘the’) work and she has been very inspired by his beautiful gote. There seems to be something about working with MaYa that brings out her sadistic side and this session was hot, nasty semenawa. I can assure you there was nothing fake about the grimaces on MaYa’s face as her legs were forced apart with a bamboo into a tortuous modication of an M-shape suspension. Did I mention that she has started learning single tail? Guess who gets to be practice target? Well, Nina does show some sympathy in the end and rewards her in the honoured Hitachi manner.
