Japanese shibari master Kazami Ranki will be back in London from the beginning of May for 12 days. He will be running a 5-day advanced kinbaku course for couples and offering private tuition. He will also be performing at Torture Garden on 10 and 11 May.

Private tuition
Private tuition will be available with Kazami sensei in 2 hour blocks costing £160 at my studio in Camberwell, London SE5. These sessions will be tailored to your requirements and skill level. His style is a refreshing departure from the Akechi/Kanna style that has become ubiquitous through the work beautiful of Osada Steve and Kinoko Hajime.
Times and dates can be chosen according to availability after payment. If we are unable to accommodate you will be refunded.

5-day course
This is the agenda I have but I’m waiting on an update, so there might be some changes:
- 4th May: ‘henkei shachi suri’ (Henkei inversion suspension)
- 5th May: ‘gotegashou’ (backwards prayer) (Kazami style)
- 6th May: Suspension with Bamboo (Kazami style). Centring around the `Suruga-Toi` tie, this lesson will look at and refine points specific to each student
- 7th May: Suspension transitions (Kazami style): How to create elegant sequences of positions during suspensions.
- 8th May: Creating connections. Instruction on ways to build deeper connection with your partner.
