I have finally got around to uploading two new galleries of some new suspensions with Maya. One is a smaller gallery of black and white pictures inspired by one of the ties in Sugiura’s photos, the other a much more comprehensive colour shoot with a demanding bamboo rigged suspension. This is not to say that the ties in Sugiura’s books are not tough, they are without a doubt. In many cases, even the apparently easy ones involve very stressful contortions and, as we discovered, the same can be said of some of Araki’s.
