After evaluating various Learning Management Systems and course creation software, I finally settled on a solution. To ensure maximum scalability with minimum downtime and administrative headaches, I decided on a managed solution with a blissfully user-friendly interface. After all, you want to learn shibari not become an IT geek, don’t you?
Anyway, I have been glued to my keyboard recently transferring and uploading content and have now got the first course on-line: A very much expanded and enhanced version of my DVD tutorials, ‘Japanese Rope Bondage: Tying people, not parcels’, which includes:
• Forums for Q&A, feedback and requests
• Numerous in-depth articles for greater knowledge
• Additional tutorials to teach additional skills
• More videos help you understand better
• Extensive safety information so you avoid the pitfalls
• Instant easy access on any device
• Less time wasted searching for information
Of course, it goes without saying, you’ll also get all the original DVD content as well. The great thing about it is that the information will be constantly updated and tutorials upgraded, so you’ll always get our latest teaching. As you will appreciate, this is important in an area where knowledge is expanding day by day. Not only that but the forum will allow your questions to be answered and for you to tell us what you want.

Having put ‘ Tying people, not parcels’ on-line, the next job for Nina and I will be to start building the follow-on course and to add a selection of very low cost tutorials on specific subjects or ties. Beyond that, there are many ways we can extend what we offer: Live classes, personal assessments, quizzes…the sky’s the limit!
Let me know what you’d like to see there.
