I was all set up to broadcast tonight, admittedly with a last minute trauma when my PC needed to be re-booted then engaged in a lengthy disk check. As 7:30 approached, I started to wonder where my student was, so I called him but got no answer and left a voice mail. A few minutes later, I got a text saying he was in hospital with his son and that he had left a message earlier. Of course, today was the day I had the delivery of 1,100kgs of rope which meant a host of back orders to process, hence I never got as far as checking messages. Consequently, I had no idea about his mercy mission. As I write, I still have 17 reels that still need to be booked with couriers.
To stem your disappointment, I have added free access to three basic tutorials on the Shibari TV page. These will remain there for a couple of days.
Obviously, the most important thing is my student’s son who is “getting there” apparently. I just hope it’s nothing too serious. Of course, I am very disappointed as I know this has attracted a lot of interest judging by the site stats. I’m keen to re-schedule as soon as possible. As soon as I can speak with my student, I’ll see how soon we can do it. If he is busy caring for his son, I have a few in reserve.
In addition, we will be streaming more advanced classes very soon. Now we have the Festival out of the way and the house free of guests, I have a reasonably clear playing field so Shibari TV and my new tutorial DVDs will be top of the list. My new i7 laptop has just arrived, therefore the next job is to set up streaming on it. Hopefully, we will be able to run multi-camera from it to cover BOUND, other events and anything else interesting.
