OK, I think we have the membership system working finally. This means that all the full paid membership options of 30, 60, 120 days or a year are now available giving you access to all areas with special early bird rates from as little as $7.45 per month. These reduced rates will be held for the length of your subscription, so the longer you sign up for, the longer you benefit from these rock bottom prices. Once I have the back catalogue loaded and everything running like clockwork, prices will be brought into line with industry rates. You only have to see my eBay ratings (99.7% positive) and read the Customer Feedback post to be reassured that, if you encounter any gremlins in the interim, I will make resolve the issue.
The member content includes articles on technique, hardware, safety and other matters, based on my extensive experience and research, often on personal discussions with some of the world’s best known kinbakushi. The photo and video galleries won’t just be a great place to see my work but also authentic kinbaku from some of the best performers around.
Over the next few months, I will be adding a series of tutorials as this site will become an invaluable learning resource and hub of information. If you want to keep your finger on the pulse of the shibari scene and pick up the tricks, which you won’t learn elsewhere, that took me over a decade to learn, you can make no better investment. The RSS feed will keep you up to date so you won’t miss a thing.
That’s not all, apart from exclusive material, members will also get special offers and privileges, e.g. priority booking for popular classes and events, reduced tuition rates, discounted and limited availability products etc. These alone could recoup your membership!
Use the Join button at the top of the page to take advantage of these great subscription rates now!
Update 13 January:
Subscriptions are now non-recurring, i.e. when one runs out, it will not automatically renew. We found that if a user downgraded to avoid auto-renewal, their status reverted immediately to Free Member and they lost any remaining full access. Obviously, that is unsatisfactory, hence the change. This takes effect immediately but it might take us a day or two to remove any warnings that it is a recurring subscription.
One user has reported an issue with accessing content. If you experience anything similar, please let us know with as much detail as possible, e.g. All content? Some content and, if so, which? Does the problem just relate to a type such as videos?
