After a lengthy time away from the stage, I’ve been prompted to do a few shows of late. I must say, it’s good to perform again but I still don’t want to do it full-time. A large part is laziness. I like to keep things fresh as I’m not really one for doing the same show over and over but it’s hard work to come up with something different for every show. It would be great to do something as different as my ‘Bob the Builder’ at LFAJRB show every time! The other reason is that developing ShibariClasses has been a much more productive and satisfying use of my time. The format really works and it has already outstripped my rope business.
The proximity of two of the recent venues suited my natural indolence. The Erotic Art Exhibition was at the Copeland Gallery in Peckam where I was supporting Bob Bentley’s presentation featuring the Pleasure of Rope, his amazing kinbaku documentary, with a show with our model, Sofinda.

My other London gig was a set at Torture Garden where Nina, Sofinda and I did three shows over the course of the evening. This one was even more unusual in that Nina modelled for me. She’s invaiably on the other side of the rope these days. Mind you, it’s hard to say no to TG. I love the event and owe them deeply for the opportunities they have afforded me over the years.
