In many cases, those who haven’t logged in for some while might find their membership has expired so can’t get access. Due to an annoying ‘feature’, you might be prevented from re-registering. Thankfully, messages telling you that your “email is in use can” easily be rectified. Simply mail me via the Contact Form with the email or user name that you used to register and I’ll have it sorted out in no time. This legacy of my buggy membership system, which is being phased out. I’m working towards moving all member content to the new software so the changeover can be completed. Meanwhile, I have to register some memberships manually.
It also seems that a few of those having trouble logging in are either entering the wrong information or doing it in the wrong place. Regardless of what the issue is, I have had no problem logging on with their details when I have checked. Therefore, I think it might be well to reiterate the login procedure. In the black footer area at the bottom of most pages, you’ll see the login box on the right (see below). Enter you user name, not email, and password and hit Login. That’s it if you are already a member, otherwise you will be asked to complete some basic information for your membership. If this doesn’t work, Huston, we have a problem but only a small one.
