A better structured way to learn shibari
We are expanding the ‘Introducing shibari: Mega-bundle’ with more new shibari tutorials on ShibariClasses. Over the past couple of days, we have shot several shibari tutorials to add to this ever-growing course bundle. This structured course is the best $18 (+ local tax where applicable) that you will ever invest in learning connective shibari, not just patterns.
With our ‘ingredients-based’ approach, we make shibari easy and logical. You will become familiar with simple ingredients and how to use them to make your own ‘recipes’, garnished with your creativity and passion. This isn’t just shibari, it’s Esinem shibari!
One-rope gote (TK)
A very simple gote for floor-work which can be used alone or as the basis for other ties, e.g. hog-tie, with finishing variations.
Upper body tie
A pretty upper body tie with a high-hands position.

Strappado
A strappado based on two very simple ‘ingredients’ which can also be used to create similar restictions elsewhere, e.g. legs, a limb to a bamboo. It is also employed in one of the hog-tie variations.

Hog-tie
A simple hog-tie which avoids loading the wrists to minimise the risk of nerve damage in that area, plus a futo-momo based variation for better access. One version uses the 1-rope gote (above) and another incorporates a strappado.
