Recently, a thread was started on Fetlife by somebody who was nervous about buying from my eBay shop having had previous bad experiences online. Here are some comments from the thread. Unbelievably, they were entirely unsolicited and no bribes changed hands!
“Esinem’s reputation here on FetLife is pretty much above reproach. My purchase of his DVD went quite smoothly, and I’ve never heard a negative word about his rope.” EM
“I recently bought some jute from Esinem and can’t fault the guy or his rope, the transaction was smooth and communication was good throughout, I was very pleased with the rope when it arrived (my profile pic is the jute in question). Like -EM- I also purchased his DVDs and everything was fine….” SirVme
“I know Esinem personally and everything he does is top notch in quality. You won’t be disappointed with his jute…” Tatu
“I am another that is in agreement with everything stated above.” jasha
“Relax and pour yourself a Harp. Esinem’s jute is the rope I reserve for my classes.” JakeKinbaku
“@Sionnach, you can certainly depend on Esinem as a rope supplier. I had a close look at Esinem’s new hemp/linnen ropes last month, during the London rope festival. Premium quality and very competitive price, I want a set of my own.
Esinem’s new hemp/linnen rope is tightly twisted, light pale, and a bit heavier than jute. I think a great rope, if you take the time to treat it with wax and oil. The hemp/linnen rope seems a bit stiff in the beginning, but will quickly soften yet still tightly twisted.” Peter_Slemrian
“I have some of Esinem’s linen rope and I love it, a little heavier than jute but I like it just like that . You have nothing to worry about Esinem as a supplier” 123avalon
“It’s excellent stuff – it’s (I believe) supplied by a specialist who was given an example piece of traditional Japanese jute rope used by nawashi in Japan and asked to reproduce it as closely as possible.
The results, well you can’t tell the difference.” IndelibleMarker
“Esinem is brilliant, great quality and speed of delivery from someone that uses it himself.” Hebari
