I only just noticed that my eBay shop was starting to resemble Steptoe & Sons’ junk yard. I have made a start on sorting it out and will continue to improve it. There’s an application in for a merchant account so when I get that I will have my own online store without PayPal’s constraints and lower prices.
Most of my stock hadn’t actually appeared in the new sub-sections I had helpfully created. Anyway, a long overdue upgrade to Turbo Lister, eBay’s bulk up-loader, seems to have sorted out the problem. Whilst I was at it, I noticed some pretty random pricing so I have rationalised the pricing breaks and substantially reduced some items.
The next step will be to list rope with drop down options for multiples to avoid individual listings for 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 etc. hanks. Less confusing for you and for me. Hopefully this will plug gaps in the range of items that should logically be there, where I have simply forgotten to add a particular option or quantity. Things that don’t make sense like not offering a treated or longer version.
