We have been making some changes on Esinem websites. You have probably just seen the first change we have made, a new home page (above), which I hope you agree is a bit smarter than the old one. It’s all part of some updates we are doing to this site and also my rope sales sites. This site had a few anomalies due to my blundering efforts to wrestle with a very clever but massively complex theme. One problem was the absence of a navigation bar on some pages , which, as you’ll see has now been sorted. On the membership side, the menu bar is also a lot neater and more similar to the public site’s one.
Over on the retail side, I have been busy re-photographing and expanding the range with a lot more options. Almost all rope will be available in 8m or 10m lengths, treated or untreated, plus more money-saving options for kits. Due to the rather ad-hoc growth of the ESINEM-Rope shops, there have been quite a few differences in the stock offered in my main shop, ESINEM-Rope.com and my Amazon and eBay shops. The latter two have held a much smaller range and there is little consistency in images, categories used and across listings. This is all due to change. I am just sending off the final batch of photos to be edited so they have white backgrounds and my techie recently received the data for a test upload of all the rope variations. Listings will be much clearer as each diameter for each type will have a drop-down to select quantity and finish.
Once all the products are on all sites, I will work on providing more information in the listings so the product is described and shown as fully as possible.
As you know from my earlier post, we now have Rope-bot to help guide you through the maze of products. I will continue to enhance it by adding more ultra close-up photos, specifications, e.g. accurate diameter and weight per meter, with lots of guidance.
