Now I have cleared the playing field a bit, even if this is an illusion, I have made a start on my new plans. I’ve just ordered a top of the range Logitech web cam so I can start doing on-line tutorials via WizIq. Hopefully, their codec upgrade giving an alleged 30-40% speed increase, my fast net connection (80Mbps) and a quality web cam with on-board processing will mean excellent video. Over the next week or so, I’ll start setting up tutorials here: http://www.wiziq.com/esinem Like all these things, I’m experiencing a few teething troubles, e.g. on-line multiple choice tests work but show an error. I await words of wisdom from their technical support. You can try a experimental one here that I put together for suspension students. As soon as the new web cam arrives, I’ll try doing a second tutorial with a student and run it as a live class. We can try things to see how it works. It will either be very illuminating for all or degenerate into chaos unless I can master the technique of controlling an on-line class 🙂 Thankfully, WizIq seems to have all manner of options and is specifically designed for this sort of thing.
I have also added several more videos including one of Kinoko performing and some new tutorials, plus more new galleries from BOUND and Ropefest. There are now 23 tutorials, many on suspension, so this resource is expanding rapidly. More will be added over the coming weeks. I started to remove duplicates here which also appear in the New Members Area to improve performance and work towards moving all media there.
